Chelsea(A) - Post Match Thread

I'm so chuffed I nearly didn't post on the Brexit thread!

See he has a decent stream :)

Man's a legend. Need to keep him positive during recovery.

Can think of only one downside - Oto's daft challenge near the end.

And looked a push and not "easing him off" for the pen.

Pep out!

Just came back, went for a celebratory shag, this win felt like deservedly that. Meanwhile yous wrote a lot, have to catch up with reading.
I heard the Mrs gasping and panting in the bedroom, thought she'd developed asthma.
And I've just forked out £100 for the curtains in there, so I hoped you followed the rules.

Calmed down a bit. Haven’t read the whole thread. Every single player left their balls out on that pitch.
This is my considered conviction. Never mind the PL. If we can play regularly with that rigour, that skill, that sheer bloody-mindedness, we fear absolutely no-one in Europe. Barca, Real, PSG, Bayern? We can take any of them. No sweat.

Felt good about this game the minute I saw Pep had gone with Sterling Jesus and sane. I was worried he would try to overload the midfield and cause the same congestion we had last season when we had dinho, kev, gundogan and silva.
Chelsea wer shit scared of sane and closed him out of the game so we went to Sterling instead and he caused them no end of trouble down that side. We have so many options now to choose.
You can see the players believe in what pep is doing and the belief they have that are the best in this league and are out to prove it. I'm just so excited after today's win. I mean, we battered a really good Chelsea side. Battered them. 60-odd present possession at their ground as well as 17 attempts. It could have been another 4 - 0. Lastly, as good as we are going forward, we seem to have got the balance bang on as we conceded very little defensively.
Fuck you international break.
That's a really good post. Lots of people saying Sane didn't have a good game ignores the team effort that this was. Both he and Jesus put so much pressure on their back line that they couldn't get out. Playing those three right across the full width, and Kyle and Fabian tucked inside, meant that we forced back their full backs and over ran them in midfield . It was top drawer no matter what the MOTD clip suggested.

I think that was one of the most complete performances that I've ever seen from a City side. Every single player was outstanding.
