Talk about playing for the badge.

Think I would like to give a shout for Sane - he worked hard keeping their FB under pressure. Chelsea rarely threatened down our left side.Brilliant Delph.
and Jesus - great performance - running his bollocks off - keeping their back 4 very busy. Would love to see Jesus get a goal - that volley was past Cortois
before Rudiger headed it clear.

Pretty sure that was off Rudiger’s shoulder, mate. From what I saw, Rudiger knew virtually nothing about it. He just happened to be in the way.

i don’t know when I last saw defending champions play at home as though they were playing away. I understand them, mind you. This current City team can really hurt the opposition, at any point in the game.

I'm still buzzing.

What an effort by the players. They left everything on the pitch. As good as that performance was, we are still getting used to Pep's style of play. We will improve.

Not sure where the criticism of Sane is coming from. I have never witnessed him defend with such energy and vigour. He made some great runs but the passes didn't quite reach or the player in the possession of the ball didn't see the run. Okay,a few things didn't work out for him but he is young and it is the nature of the game for an attacking that things don't always come off. I reckon Pep will be very happy with his performance.

Delph....no words.

An absolute masterclass in how to dominant a top team. What I'm delighted at is that it's a game at prime time, where everyone can see it.

We've gone to last years Champions and completely battered them, they couldn't get out of their own half.
