Disappointed with the result but there's far worse teams to lose to, they worked really hard for their points.
Hats off to Chelsea, they hung in there for the first half and a got lucky break with the Kante goal when City were much the better team, I don't care how many shots we had because we were applying pressure against a very good team in their own ground and dominating them pretty much. I also don't know what BT were seeing but there wasn't much between the two teams in the 2nd half(most of their attacks were in fact counters and we reduced them to shooting tame efforts from outside the box and a few generous free kicks) but I guess people over compensate when we aren't totally outplaying them, teams naturally feel a little braver when they are ahead and Chelsea were no exception. The second goal killed the game, I don't think it was a corner but we should have defended it better, how did Gundogan end up trying to deal with Luiz?
Today could have been much different if we were at full strength, Mendy would have given us a lot going forward, Aguero would have been handy, oh and that fella KDB might have given them more to think about. Finally, although they didn't play badly, Silva and Fernandinho look like they need a rest, they'd probably have been able to affect the game more otherwise, hope Silva is ok.
All in all we shouldn't get too down about this, they had to get a lucky win against an understrength Man City team at the end of the day. I am more concerned that the players already look tired and the busy period has only just started.
