Equivalent game was rather tight last year, though we were comfortably the better side in possession. That said, it was not until the double introduction of Grealish and Mahrez that we eventually broke them down. They’ll not be as defensively rigid this season, so one would expect a game with more chances. Could be a question of whether we take them when presented and whether we don’t get caught with too many men ahead of the ball.

Shame that, always happy to see Ake in our team. I think he retains possession slightly better than Gvardiol too, though it’s marginal.
At least he’ll get the next fortnight off now.
