Chelsea away ticket details {merged}

This will be the only game of the season i will miss, shit away, shit prices.

Not been chelsea for years now.

City is given an initial allocation of usually around half of the tickets available.

These are sale or return. The second allocation isn't - it's a case of the club has to buy them all and hopefully sell them. Liverpool last season (I think) had over 200 unsold tickets - which City had to cough up £10k for.

We do the same as we have to give the away team the lower tier and if they don't want the upper we know we can sell all the seats to our own fans. Why should anyone give out a full allocation and then find out the day before the game there's a thousand seats that didnt sell that won't be paid for.

You can't blame City for seeing how it goes before commiting to taking the full alloctation or whoever we're playing wanting to sell the other half if we don't want them.
