Honestly didnt get to me down this defeat. We have to lose a big match at some point and hopefully this was it.The team was understandably weak and one of the "supposedly" best teams in europe only managed 1-0 with their strongest 11. More concerned about KDB. If hes not fit we have a fight on our hands. He is the difference between possibly winning the CL and not. He is also massive for the PL.

11, 3 on target, at least 2 poor headers, Laporte and Fernandhino, Jesus' shot straight at the keeper. We weren't great, especially around the box, but we still created chances, and more than they did, ignoring the 2 offside goals they scored.

I just can’t see Haaland as a Pep player at all. Bellingham though is a different kettle of fish!

Me either but how many Bellingham type players do we need.

Ideally Pep would be like another Messi or Ronaldo type player to get the goals we need it's pretty obvious to see, but these are once in a generation players, albeit we had two with Messi and Ronaldo.
I've seen nothing of the current crop of players on the planet to come anywhere near them, Mbappe included.

Like you I don't see how Haaland fits into a Pep system but at the moment we are crying out for a goal scorer and even if Pep has to tweak his system, I'd take him in a heartbeat.
