A lot of people are making out Ortega held a one man Rorke’s Drift and seem to be forgetting Mendy also saved them from a real thrashing on quite a few occasions

Enjoyable match. Great performance from Ortega - they could have been 2 up by half time. Much better second half with Grealish and Alvarez both looking good. That Alvarez cross for the second goal was superb as was Mahrez’s control when he got the ball. Alvarez deserved the goal just for that cross! Definite improvement in tempo when Bernardo came on.

Mahrez has the best first touch of any city player I’ve ever seen and I can’t think of any non city players whose is better either, certainly not that I’ve seen live anyway.
