Arsenal have taken 5 plus years of a shit ton of money and repeated failures to get to this point. So they have a better, deeper squad.

We're one year into a rebuild since the Premier leagues greatest ever side.

Winning the league with this squad was always fanciful. But we're not doing too badly.

Next year we'll be better.

Am doing a knee jerk there is Still 18 games to go 6 points behind but our major issue is our quality of our squad! Why? Lots of managers would have dipped into bench and would have used some fresh legs which our manager refuses to do.

Tonight just demonstrated what the squad is lacking in terms of fitness, pace and mobility.

Chelsea were shit in the first half and not much better in the second, but they kept going and ran us into the ground in the end.

If our passing game doesn’t click, and it certainly didn’t in the second half, then we give possession away too easily and can’t easily win it back because we don’t have the legs or the power in midfield.

We’ve got a lot of work to do to the squad if we’re to be really competing next season. A top four finish this season would be a good outcome.

Also, you are claiming one injury more than a few games is "literally" going to make them come 3rd. You have to see how that is not the same as compromising a title push.

I doubt they would win it if either of them were injured for an extended period. They might not even win it currently. Alas, I let you get worked up about other people’s semantics.

Feels like the tank has started to empty out more than anything else. We need Semenyo and maybe another couple in January if we want to continue pushing Arsenal I feel. Injuries to Nico Dias and Josko are not good at all. We're spread too thin.

Because they've hardly played? They're young? You don't just send academy lads out to control a game against a big 6 club.
