I don’t think Nunes is the problem at all but I totally agree with your point. The team is missing 1-2 absolute dijon footballers

It wasn't aimed at Nunes specifically, he's done really well to cover that position but its symptomatic of our overall squad. Zabaleta/Walker/Nunes is a downgrade and its not his fault he's done well but its a step back. And when you add all the other below standard, potential signings these things over a course of a season catch us out.

None of the team besides Rodri & Khusanov had any fight in them.. we were outhustled and outplayed played from the starting whistle to the end whistle.

Doku for Reijnders, good sub, Doku was needed and Reijnders kept giving the ball away carelessly (could have been any of Foden, Cherki or Reijnders didn’t mind who, they were all at it with the carelessness).

Khusanov for Gvardiol, Gvardiol got injured.

Dias got Aké, Dias got injured.

Not sure why Lewis has fallen out of favour, he could have done a job today when Foden and Cherki were running on fumes. Pep seems to do that a lot, freezes a player out for no apparent reason. This time it’s Lewis.

I think when your/im critical of nunes et al, it’s not that I’m saying they aren’t good players, they just aren’t very good or great players, and ultimately that’s what’s needed in most positions.
