Chelsea (H) | Post-Match Thread

This has got to be a wind up. For avoidance of doubt, the guy that has never "got" football has taken every single tropy seriously unlike some managers who i assume you will think "GET" English football. English football is just football like any other, that's why every fucking manager in the country is trying to play out the back and break the lines all of a sudden.

The greatest, and most influential manager that football has ever seen and he'll be an absolute fucking legend when he pack it in. But yeah, you keep going..
Bill wants us to play 442 and start the same players every week.
The English way.

It really is as simple as that. It's business logic that some with an employee mentality fail to grasp.

When you see an opportunity, grab it with both hands. You don't fuck about, especially not against a resurgent Chelsea team in excellent form, & who are turning teams over without conceding much.
Right, because those of us with businesses never look at the bigger picture and plan longer term,

Relax.

Sit back and enjoy potentially one of the greatest season’s we’ve ever had and will ever have.
I'm perfectly relaxed, but pissed off with a missed opportunity to wrap up the league. If you can see the sense in what we did on Saturday, then fine. Explain it to me. I'm struggling to see why we'd not secure the league first, & then change to a 5-1-4 formation & bring on the rotation players.

Still possible he makes mistakes though. We don't have the information Pep has or the skills he has. However, he has delivered the goods time and time again, and therefore deserves trust. However, that doesn't make him a God. He will get scrutinised whether you like it or not because he is human. And human beings are frail.

I remember a couple of games at the start of Pep's first season and thickos like ol' Bill here in the car park crying because Pep wanted to play out the back. I specifically remember, as we were stuck in the car park on the way home from one of the European games that i think we drew, 2 guys opening their windows and just gobbing off how they were alway told to get rid when they played the game. You would have though after getting 100 points, breaking nearly every fucking record going and being able to see the best football of any team IN THE WORLD, some would have understood this playstyle a bit more....

I can see you're posting in good faith, pal, which is more than others, I just wish there was a way that I could relieve you of some of this anxiety.

Put it this way, if we don't win the league from here, I will be much angrier about losing back to back games against Newcastle, Brighton and Everton than I will be losing to Chelsea! Regardless, I think we will be celebrating on Friday night one way or another and then we can all start shitting it for the CL final.
Mate, I'm pissed off, NOT anxious. Some see Saturday as a risk worth taking. I didn't. When it was obvious we stood a big chance of losing, the very players some are saying couldn't play because they were too pooped from Tuesday, were the one's we called on to turn Saturday's match around.

Why couldn't we have started with them, got the job done, & then brought on some of the fringe players to see the match out? That's all I'm saying. If you can see the sense in what we did om Saturday, please explain it, because I'm at a loss... :-|

I don't think anyone is saying you can't scrutinize Pep, what's the point in football if we are to just sit back and accept everything? But the post i replied to said he didn't "get" English football and that he threw away a semi final. Both points are bollocks and that's 100% something he doesn't deserve.
