Fixed with what? All the injuries the team has had playing every 3 days?Fixed.
Great summaryPenalty robbery aside(which would have won the game if we had converted it), we probably didn't deserve the win tonight, but neither did Chelsea IMO.
From City's perspective, that formation doesn't suit us, the pressing was off from the start. It wasn't working up front with the players chosen either, they didn't seem to be combining much, to pull Chelsea's backline apart and create overloads/chances. The defence was disjointed, even with 3 CB's on, we didn't look as solid as we normally do. With Zinchenko and Walker on it would have been a different story. We at least played our high line well enough and caught them offside time and time again(clearly part of the game plan) but we cut it too close at times for my liking.
Chelsea looked fitter/fresher than City, especially in that second half, despite City having an extra day's rest. They(Chelsea) deserve praise for pressing for the full 90mins but when Neville and Tyler are getting excited by City's own game becoming sloppy, Chelsea's players must have noticed it even more and took a lot of encouragement from that. I think Pep should have made his changes sooner because the game turned in that sloppy period for me. The only problem if he had done that would be that when you make 9 changes in the starting line-up and it's not working, even 3 subs might not be enough.
Ake and Mendy both fading at the same time was not pleasant viewing. Sergio and Torres didn't offer much. I can't remember Cancelo doing much in either direction, come to think of it. Laporte played well overall but he got done far too easily by Werner for their goal, he does have those slight lapses in concentration, every so often. He switched off for a moment thinking Werner was going to double back and then Werner(what a diver he is btw) was in behind him to supply the cross.
Disappointed with the performance, miffed at the officiating but we'll dust ourselves off and learn from this one hopefully.
What if they get injured against Newcastle ? It makes no sense. 9 changes ? That's ridiculous. What if mahrez kdb and foden got injured today?
whats negative about that to say it was bad management - its the truth that is all. the rest is just a alternative way of doing something...again not negative - just alternateIt's not like you to be so negative...
Him, and Cancelo need to Beef up in the Gym.Shite him mate been saying it for ages now he brings fuckall to the team.
P.s before anyone tells me what he does for Spain I couldn't give a fuck.
That was my point. Damn it!!!No need to get all menstrual. We are all entitled to our opinions. I’ve been reading every page. I respect your viewpoint is different to mine. But I won’t dig you out for your opinion. That’s what a forum is all about.
Doesn’t excuse some of the vile shit that was being written by some of the chavs on hereIt was a chance to wrap up the league and give Tuchel something to worry about.Today was awful.I think we have the right as fans to moan about the performance today. It was an awful watch. The result flattered us because they should've been out of sight. They're a dangerous team going forward and today we just couldn't handle them.
Aston Villa (A)- decent team and hopefully they will get something
Leicester (H). - normally id say a Leicester win but they have been awful recently....
Liverpool (H)- - who knows,......Id say Utd win
IF they were to win all 3 they would be 4 pts behind us before we play Newcastle - that would add a bit of pressure indeed
that was slightly tongue in cheek tbh as not even Pep would be that daftHe would have had a lobotomy if he picks him.
This I agree with. It will be moments of brilliance and talent from us, like the final five minutes against QPR. That wasnt Mancini, that was individual players standing up and making it count. We wont be smashing anyone. The final is going to be a hell of a tough game, and we'll have to be at our absolute best to win it.
They are out in force tonight.Only pep can manage a team to the verge of a champions league/treble, 3 leagues in 4 years, 4 carabao cups in a row, a domestic treble........and still know less than some idiots on bluemoon
Honestly some of you are so fucking moronic!
So if we won you then wrap in cotton wool??
I trust pep
We win in three weeks who cares??
It’s fuckin embarrassing thinking that other fans might read this kind of bollox that some wrote on hereOnly pep can manage a team to the verge of a champions league/treble, 3 leagues in 4 years, 4 carabao cups in a row, a domestic treble........and still know less than some idiots on bluemoon

Mendy's performance wasn't any worse than anyone else's. He's obviously lost a yard of pace because of all his injuries, so we were bound to be exposed if they put the ball in behind him.Shit team = shit performance = shit result.
Not that fucking difficult to work out and there was no need to lose that today.
Ake and Torres really poor.
Mendy was Mendy and that’s all that needs saying. Why the fuck he gets picked I’ll never know. We have umpteen feeder clubs and kids in the reserves earning thousands a week and he’s the best left back that we can put out? Genuinely bizarre.
yeah rightno way was he fouled.
Bollocks. You win by being the best over a season, finishing with the most points. When you win it doesn't matter. It might be more exciting to win it when you play on the day but it's nothing to do with what anybody else does or when, as long as you're the best over the season. You do know how it works, don't you?Pathetic by Rodri for the Chelsea equaliser. Caught in possession like that. Treating a penalty like that from Aguero. That performance was as unprofessional as it gets from all at City, team and backroom. Considering it would of ceiled the league. Probably get the league by default now when United fuck up. You play your best football when you have to win and you get in the groove like we did chasing down Liverpool game after game, no time for rest. All this resting just ends up with rustiness and a sense of who is first class and who is second class.
