Good to see policing wasn't a factor in the decision and that this decision was simply a straight up load of bollocks.
oooh where did you read this? i've been concocting a theory in my head that it IS the policing issue all along but the PL (did you notice they acted first?) have tried to point score on grief by pretending it's respect, instead of coming out and saying they're short of bobbies (which would, in turn, imply they were cold hearted blah blah), and it's back fired on them.
 
PL terrified of being seen as uncaring and bottled it. Rugby and cricket just made the sensible decision to carry on and pay respects.

Sorry for all the people who have wasted time and money.

This decision has shown no more or less respect than those sports rightly choosing to carry on. There is no upside.

Not surprised though.

Who changed the title of this thread could have worded it differently, when in your lifetime did you see rhe passing of a monarch,. Have some respect
