Like I said in another thread. Fuck the BBC and FUCK the FA. It will have a bigger impact for the future of the club if we progress further in the Champions League than it would if we had gone through to the next round of the FA Cup.
Its a shame that so few see this. Its better because it gives us a higher co-efficient, and by progressing the club earn more money than going all the way to the final of the FAC. Its quite simple really, and THE CLUB got it right on this occasion.

However, having done this today, we need to step up to the mark in the next 2 games, otherwise it was pointless.

Usual suspects - Willy, Demicheles and Fernando let the team down!
Demi has been a good servant but is past it now. However this, this and this (above) have been repeated time and again until we're 'blue in the face' (excuse the pun).
Today should have removed all doubt as to the first actions required come the end of the season.

Some good points there.

I fear it will all have been in vain.... I hope not but my old fashioned pessimism is rife tonight

WARNING - Any more posts calling the manager of Manchester City an "old ****" (or similar) will be deleted, as will any quoting said posts. Criticise if you like, but disrespecting the manager like that is unacceptable, and may lead to a ban.

Thanks.

Well done all the kids but I was really impressed with BARKER. Very direct and seems a natural dribbler like Barnsey was. He looked like he could cause danger. Also tracks back and is not scared to get stuck in. Hope we see a lot more of him. Honestly dont think Sterling wud have been more effective. Just a pity he was given little playing time.

Totally agree
What a way to treat manuel
Im afraid its rather typical of the reactions from various knuckle heads on here
Criticizing is ol as long as its constructive
But abuse isnt

not having that you can also say Aguero and Silva would have scored 3 goals each and city went on to win that's not the point I was making really but now you pulled me up on it how many game this season have we ever looked like winning on paper only to see city getting turned over its bollocks from the manager and time is up and like many on here if we are going to win anything the other team will have to give it to us I don't see pellegrini pulling out anything new this season he is shocking and just a dead man walking

Sorry mate, your lack of punctuation leaves me speechless. People like you have been whinging all season about the lack of youth. And when you get it, and for good reasons, you continue to whinge. Grow a pair.

Spot-on,unfortunately a combination of fixture pile-up,injuries and a lack of co-operation from authorities we were left in a position of having to make difficult choices and our FAC bid has suffered as a result.
Hopefully the next few games will bring the response from the team that we need right now.

I must of been watching a different player to you then. Coming on to make his first team debut and didn't look arsed one bit!

Been glossed over and had no impact on the game but another poor penalty decision going against us today. No way was it a penalty

Thing for me is our targets/aims at the beginning of the season is to WIN every trophy possible (i presume). So how can the manager spit his dummy out at fixture congestion?

Fabregas said after the game that they played Newcastle on Sunday then played in Paris 3 days later. Yes Kiev is a lot further but it's not exactly as if the players are flying cattle class like when we go on holiday.

Mis management of the squad throughout the season has cost us today.

I do feel a bit sorry for Manuel. Damned if you do and damned if you don't .....

Had he played Kompany today and he limped off injured, can you imagine the furore on here?

Have to admit I didn't even bother watching it. It's come to something when we lose 5-1 with a weakened side but probably would have done the same with a half-arsed first team. If I was the Sheikh funding this fcukin circus I'd be livid.

Well we expected it didn't we. Only clappers thought we had a chance with that team.

Caballero and MDM were truly shite but will no doubt be defended by some on here.

The kids did great. At least they looked like they gave a shit, apart from I hate to say it, Brandon Barker who also looked like he couldn't give a fuck. Don't think I saw him sprint whilst he was on. He waltzed round like a big time Charlie. I was really excited to see him in a real game but was left bitterly disappointed.
