You do realise that Richard Wright is also there a goal keeper coach/mentor ? I'm sure Pep will be delighted that we have someone with international experience in that sort of role.

International experience? He's played for England on two occasions 15 years ago. I'm sure we could get a far better goalkeeping coach.

Saying that, he's basically on nothing relative to others' wages.

I can honestly say I have never been more ashamed of city than today. The starting line up
was a fucking disgrace this is the FA cup the worlds greatest club competition and we treated
it with utter contempt. I can honestly say I never ever thought we would ever do what we did today.
Those responsible need to hang there heads in shame and nothing less than a full refund for our
away support today.

Oh do grow up! if I want this kind of mindless bollocks I'll read it through the skid marks I leave behind on the red tops I wipe my arse with.

Yeah, because Guardiola's a footballing idiot who won't have carried out due diligence and hasn't a clue who's on City's payroll.

Laughable isn't it. Pep's first day at work will be a hoot.

"So OK. Which one of you is Vincent Kompany? Ah great. Edin Dzeko? He's what? Left? Hey can someone get me an up to date squad list please"

I dont think we did considering the team we have fit, and games we have to play, the FA was fully aware and they didnt give a shit, do you share the same anger towards the FA and the BBC for refusing to budge on the TV schedule all in the name of money for themselves ? that in itself shows a lack of respect for a cup thats is supposed to be the greatest cup competition in the world.

You're an expert on goalkeeping coaches are you ?

I've no idea how many games he played, but he was part of the international set up for a long time, and a very good keeper at the time.

Get over it

Only total defiance and ignorance by the manager will see WC in net in the final IF as he considers it was in the clubs best interest to play a weakened team today it surely means Hart must play against Liverpool as he is our no1 However didn't a similar situation arise with Mancini in 2013 when he dropped Pantilimon for the Wigan final? IRONICALLY had Pants been playing i am sure he would have done better with their corner which Watson scored off

I`m more ashamed by your fucking post to be honest. You obviously can`t see the wood for the trees.

I don't disagree that the cup tie was sacrificed, but what other option was available?

Yes, we all know, winning the CL is dreamland, but we have a decent draw and could feasibly progress (which is what the owners want).

We are down to the bare bones of a first team and we have a mid week CL and weekend LC final ahead of us. Just think it would have been unwise to risk playing a stronger team today, particularly the way we seem to easily pick up injuries at the moment.

Why not just play to win? I don't get that. And I'm not picking on you, I always want us--LFC to win.

I'm not even "old" but I find this new thing where teams chasing promotion are throwing the FA Cup, or where LFC and rag fans are actively rooting to finish 8th just to avoid the Europa cup.

Why not try and win every competition you enter?

I went and actually quite enjoyed it!

its not about giving the youth a shot its giving up the fa cup in that's way when playing 5 or more EDS lads away to Chelsea its (cannon fodder) and what will they ever get out of a game without the top players in the team knowing they are going to lose and get little credit. how many will be here next season in that starting line up today and forget this thing that pep will give youth a chance he is a winner and wants to win more than anything else so we will see very big signings again this summer mark my words

when your saying moaning everybody got a view just like yours I respect but will never come with low blows of sticks and stones. I just say as I see it the EDS is not the answer for the premier league teams the youth was always 2nd to a reserve team and playing match football each week even if its is to empty grounds give the players who have not played a game. the premier league teams have a squad of 25 players plus youth and EDS so how many players are getting match football each week

I feel its why we always have a very big injury list each season the players that are not getting match football each week and don't have the build up of match contact and contesting a full 90min game there is nothing like playing to keep you in shape and today players are just sitting on the bench week after week that can be no good for anybody. so ask the right people that have played football what its like not playing week after week and then your ask to play after not playing for a couple of months your not ready how can you be

we are never going to build superstar players you are having a laugh if you think that what happens. you just don't build or train a messi he is just born that way nothing about the training or barca youth setup if only it was that easy. the real world is keep on dreaming and have the right people with deep pocket to spend very big money on youth and coaches and keeping ex-players in work knowing to well they are bluffing in what they think it what it takes to make MESSI

That's just a rant. Go to bed.

Well it isn't even an offical role and, without being an expert on goalkeeping coach, I wouldn't say he's the greatest as there are far better goalkeepers that have far more experience.

But, like I said, maybe he barely costs anything and I'm pretty sure the club are better judges than myself.

Hang on you Scouse twat. Your lot played a 2nd string against West Ham in the replay! So didn't you throw the FA Cup! Did you try and win every comp this season.

Sometimes you just have to be pragmatic (ironically something our manager is often criticised on here for not being), today the club were, given we have a difficult away CL game, a cup final , and then a league game 3 days later at your place, all inside 7 days.
