We have Michael Emenalo as a DOF, but nobody is really sure what he actually does. He is a pretty mysterious character who appeared just after Jose left the first time.

That Emanalo dude was a part of that whole Mikel transfer saga. Read somewhere he was one of the agents involved. If true, that should also explain why Mikel got a 5 year contract last summer.

I have no idea what he does, but he's meant to be behind our player recruitment strategy which has, on the whole, been very good. We've picked up the likes of Mata, Hazard, Oscar, De Bruyne, Courtois, MVG and Lukaku during the time he's meant to be in charge. Some of them, like Hazard, were fairly obvious and highly rated. But we've picked up some real gems on the cheap as well, like the best keeper in Spain at the moment. It's a shame MVG is out for the season after tearing his ACL because I was very excited about him. The Willian thing is the only one really raising questions.

How did Chelsea play? From the highlights and Mourinho's comments it looks like Schurrle is exactly what he wants on the left. With all the talk about Mata it could quite easily be Hazard the one who is left out.

Looks like De Bruyne might be the fall guy, but 5 players for 7 positions is fine: Oscar, Mata, Schurrle, Hazard and William.
