What is it with all this rampant hypocrisy coming from Chelsea? I mean, honestly? I can understand Liverpool having a whinge, but CHELSEA?

First that Cech thing, now this.
What is next?
John Terry lecturing against extra marital relationships?

Still waiting for CFC to strengthen their centre-forward position. He can't be satisfied with Ba and Torres.

Maybe they will get Rooney, but it's a dangerous game waiting until the last moment.

Mourinho was Very unwise to claim that Rooney was their own transfer target. Can he really mean that? Surely that's just his mouth running away with itself.

The other alternatives are that it's a white lie, and CFC will move to another target, or Abramovic runs the show, and just like Sheva, he wants his buy Torres to feature

I don't know why they have this obsession with Rooney, it's a very strange un-Mourinho type of person to go after and it's not like he's worked with him before. I think United would sell Rooney tomorrow if it wasn't for the buyer being Chelsea. I would of thought Mourinho would be right in for plundering someone a bit off the radar like Higuain or using his contacts at Milan to get someone like Milito who would of been equal with Cavani last year if he hadn't gotten injured for 6 months. Even Suarez is miles better than Rooney and within the same price range.

A fit and motivated Rooney is a better striker than whatever is available in the market right now. (considering they were outbid for Falcao and Cavani, Lewandowski will only move to Bayern Munich)
Higuain has a good goal scoring record but that is confined to La Liga where the opposition other than the top two is very average. He has been regularly found wanting whenever he has played in Champions League ( 8 goals in 48 games in 7 seasons).
Chelsea may not be looking to burden their PR department further which could explain no interest in Suarez. Also, past history tells you that Suarez is likely to be unavailable for 20-30% of the games due to suspensions.

You forget Lukau(not sure about the spelling)

I think they will go for Suarez soon and will get him for about 45m, enough less than cavani for them to consider it value for money.

Perhaps even Liverpool would take Terry and Lampard as part of the deal. Adding Chelseas old gaurd to Liverpool youngish squad could ake them decent challengers for 4th. Both players gaurantee goals.

As if Mou would allow his favourite to leave, lol.
