Let united ruin Mata, im more concerned about Chelsea getting Rooney now, also wouldn't mind Arsenal missing out on Draxler.

Mourinho might be a twat but you can't turn 37m down for a player you don't want especially now with FFP lets hope Moyse ruins him

the rest of the manure squad will ruin him - mata needed the move though to get back in the spanish team for this summer's WC

Do you think this has been done for the good of CFC its supporters or for Jose.

Yep I think it's for the good of Chelsea, but the big risk is United becoming a force next season. 37 million is a lot more than Mata would have gone for anywhere else.

Essien has gone to Milan, but that seems a terrible signing. He cannot run anymore and the pitches in Serie A are huge. Milan's problem is that they get exposed on the counter. I don't see how this will end well.

Gosh you do talk some crap, Serie A is one of the slowest leagues so he will obviously cope better than he was doing over here. He won't be required to run all over the shop, how the fuck has Pirlo coped all these years when he is outpaced by a floor duffing machine? Essien has enough craft to adapt to a new role, I am not expecting him to set the world alight but he can have some impact. Although both the player and the club are in decline.

You are just showing how clueless you are. Maybe you should bother watching Milan rather than going on cliches that are several years old.
Just to illustrate the point here is a video of the goals against Verona. If you actually watched Serie A you would know that Juventus have moved to a smaller stadium. They play Pirlo with legs around him in Pogba, Vidal or Marchisio. They have hard working athletic full backs too. Milan have no legs at all in midfield.

Pay attention after the minute mark to see how Milan are constantly wrecked and the midfield cannot get back.

You may get more time on the ball, but that is not the problem for Milan. The problem is when teams attack them and have lots of space to run into. They have nobody with legs to track back and make a difference. The defence is woefully exposed and that is why they keep conceding.

Sulley Muntari doesn't have legs? If it was just about legs why have they got rid of Nocerino. Juve have a system that they have developed and stuck with, Milan have been unstable for the last few seasons, losing old heads and selling big players and not replacing them. The problems are more than just midfield, they have been speculating on some players who were just not good enough, where as Juve have had a proper recruitment strategy in place. I never said that running never happened in Serie A but it is obviously less intense and games are not as open.I doubt Milan were expecting Essien to be the box-to-box he used to be, they are just taking a gamble that it might pay off to be a good signing. You do try to overstate your own expertise at times, I liked it when you started talking about Messi having a poor Euros.

He's been his usual clever little shit self Mourinho selling Mata to the scum, knowing they have both Arsenal and us to play, and let's be honest Mata has the ability to make the difference in big games.

Chelsea IMO are our biggest threat to the title as I believe Arsenal will slip off in February & March, we do still hold an advantage over Chelsea is squad depth without doubt. The only thing that worries me is how attack-minded we are, which whilst obviously being our strong point this season, could be our downfall. We must be careful in how we set up & play when we meet the rent boys next month as Mourinho has always been a master in getting points from all conquering sides like ourselves with lesser teams (Chelsea 04/05 against Arsenal, Inter 09/10 v Barca & Real 11/12 v Barca) The good thing for us is this Chelsea side today is a lot weaker overall than the three sides he managed there & I believe Pellegrini will have the tactical nohow to get the three-points on the day making us sharper at the back and solid in our structure.

If we can take 4 points from our next two games I strongly believe we will go onto win the title despite it being early days still.
