Chelsea Thread 2014/15

Why are people ignoring the fact that they should have easily won the title last season? As a matter of fact, we wouldn't have even won it if it wasn't for Mourinho and what happened at Anfield. All that despite the lack of a decent striker for the entirety of the season.

They've massively improved from last season, it's as clear as day. Eto'o/Torres to Costa/Drogba is a MASSIVE MASSIVE improvement. Cole to Filipe Luis, Cech to Courtois and importantly Lampard to Fabregas. Even more important than their summer signings is that they have Matic for the entire season who for my money is the best in the World in his position.

They've emphatically addressed their major two weaknesses this summer bringing in two World Class players which will help them against the 'lesser' teams which cost them the League. Mourinho sides will always play well in the big games as well.

I think they'll win the League this season because our focus will be on the Champions League which we've really have to improve this year in.

Really, RAG ban please!

We would of pissed it "IF" we started better! All this bullshit about Chelsea losing those games against midtable teams and that why they will win this year is because that won't happen again, well I can't see Chelsea getting 12 points of us and Liverpool this season! It's all "look at what we could of won". bullshit!!

Mourinho doing this ice bucket challenge for those who'd enjoy seeing him dunked.

Is it me or has Fabregas been on the pies??

Me and one of my buddies were laughing and saying Fabregas looks as if he has aged 5 years in a summer!

Looks heavy and the receding hairline will do that to anyone!!

I could easily point out games like Cardiff, Villa, Sunderland and Chelsea (away), which we should have won or at least gotten a point from and would have made the importance of that result negligible.

This is the usual garbage which ignores what actually happened. Chelsea SHOULD have beaten Villa, Norwich, Crystal palace, Sunderland etc, but didn't. Not that we lost some games because of a manager without PL experience etc etc etc. Not that we couldn't play our best eleven all season, apart from71 minutes against Newcastle on the first day and for 69 minutes on the last day. And Chelsea won at Anfield - funnily enough Mourinho didn't do that to benefit City, did he. Why don't we owe the title to Wenger for beating Liverpool at the Emirates? Or Pulis? For God's sake, don,t ever let it be said that City won it because of the efforts of our own players or manager. But, what is it about the table never lying? Perhaps Mourinho and Chelsea just couldn't take the pressure - just like Liverpool. City, on the other hand could, and did.

So, Mourinho's strengthened Chelsea! The evidence is that he needed to because last season he wasn't good enough by four points. Whether he's strengthened enough, and with the right players, is something we'll only find out in the course of the season - we certainly won't learn anything from the outpourings of a nob head like you.

United aren't in the Champions league.

Nearly all the pundits are tipping (hoping for) Chelsea

But when we go and win it again it will be conveniently forgotten that their predictions were wrong and instead they'll just say with our multi million pound squad we should have won it by more points
