Re: Costa injury to prompt Chelsea move?

Silly to buy just to cover for a short-term injury. A well-run club goes into the last week of the transfer window with enough cover for one injury.

with costa rumored to be out for 6 weeks, when we play them i expect a similar formation to how they played at the etihad last season.
they did a number on us that day so it wont be easy

Bingo. It's also why it baffles me all this talk of how strong Chelsea's squad is. To me it lacks the same firepower it lacked last season. They are one injury to an injury prone player away from being back to square one in terms of challenging for the title.

Didn't realise Costa was injured already but not surprised.

Plus if Torres goes all they have is Drogba as a striker in the squad. Well played Jose.

Oh well, if we win the league, Chelsea will have their excuse. Probably be Arsenal's excuse too.
They always blame injuries.
If that happens, they'll have excuses and we'll have this:

Besides, Chavs sold Lukaku, they've no excuse. Same as last year.
