Diego Costa may have torn his hamstring according to The Sun... that would be 6 or so weeks? Unfortunately Chelsea have time to get another decent striker still, but doubt he'd be as good as Costa.

That's 4 times in 6 months, he won't be the same again if it's the same hamstring (speaking from experience).

Arsenal and Chelsea's main strikers out for a while now, possibly for the games against us.
 
Given Costa's injury problems towards the end of last season, including playing when he wasn't really fit, as well as playing at the WC, then Chelsea would have been better off easing him into this season in the same way we have with Sergio. Problem is, they don't have the back-up strikers that allow them to do that.
One area where we are definitely ahead of them, and it could be crucial.
 
Is it true then? ,thought it must be just rumours doing the rounds.That must be chelsea and arsenal without their main strikers then.
 
That hammy will keep him out of our game....only Torres or Drog can save them now.

i can see them picking up Remmy from QPR.

'Arry was playing a strange game yesterday saying he has a £8.5M buyout clause and he really really hopes no club come in for him before Monday.
