I agree, they do not have the back up fire power that we do, in fact none of the other title contenders do, also they are all in the CL too which is also too our advantage. Chelsea could easily go tits up with a few injuries and I would not swap our squad quality or depth for any other teams..!

Agree fully. They didn't really suffer long injuries to any of their key players last season whereas we had to do without sergio (practically half a season), Negredo (practically a third of the season), Nasri (a month), Kompany (6 weeks or so), and Silva early on. We also had to put out a side with 1 CM only against them at home.

Compare this with Hazzard who missed a couple of games, terry and cech right at the end of the season. torres doesn't count.

If chelsea lose costa and one of hazrad or fabregas for a month or so theyll be in trouble. No firepower or creativity.

I know little about him but his stats seem excellent. Problem is he also seems to have recent injury problems.

Torres, Eto'o and Ba vs. Costa, Destro and Drogba is an enormous improvement if this Torres deal comes off.

Milan owe us! Apparently everything is agreed except for haggling over wages. Chelsea may have to split the difference to get rid of him.

You have 18 non home grown players, you'll need to dispose of more than Torres to make room for Destro. Even if you do, he's not a Costa/Drogba Mourinho type striker.

Cech is most likely leaving as well, it's hugely unlikely that we're keeping both him and Courtois.

He already has his main striker in Costa. We need someone different. He's both different and a huge improvement on Torres.
