Chelsea Thread 2014/15

Aye this chelsea team looks like maureens old chelsea. Im not flapping here because we lost today. I have felt since the start of the season that I dont think chelsea are going to have any slip ups. I think there going full throttle right through till the end of the season. The signings they have made and looks like costa has found his feet straight away. I hope im wrong but I think they mght win this league by a comfortable margin.

We lack the pace and the hunger that all Mourinho sides do, we played at walking pace today whilst they scored six at goodison....6.

If we'd played against that Everton defence playing like that, we'd of filled our boots as well. Everton were appalling. Some fans really need to sack up a bit, it was only last week that we strolled past Liverpool while Chelsea laboured to beat bloody Burnley.

agreed with both...Distin was awful, playing a lot of people onside. But the fact is that stoke came to sit back whereas everton came to play football.

I reckon its going to be a right tussle between us and Chelsea. They are going to be one hell of a force this season and Costa has hit the ground running just like Aguero did. Fabregas has also had an impressive start. We have to take heart that they conceded 3 today and it could have been more (very unlike Mourinho). I can't see many slip up's from them against the lesser teams, Maureen would have drilled it into them after last season, especially as they had the best record against the top teams and would have won the league at a canter if they avoided many slip ups at home against the likes of West Ham, West Brom, Norwich and Sunderland). Saying that, I'm confident we will beat them in a few weeks

2 week's ago people were complaining on here because sky crowned Chelsea champions after beating Burnley. Now most on here are saying they will win the league.

We struggled today (well yesterday). This is a tough league and Chelsea are going to drop points along the way. Clearly us and Chelsea are the 2 best teams. However we have a lot more strength in depth upfront.

I still maintain the fact that they sold Lakaku could cost them the league. If kun gets injured we are alright with jevetic and dzeko. Hopefully negredo can regain his form.

If Costa gets injured then they are left with an aging drogba. Costa isn't going to play every game or score in every game.

Costa is a classless prick. I hope Zabaleta sorts him out when we play Chelsea. Howard was right to go over.

3 points v these at home is essential IMO.

Let's hope MP has learnt from last season's defeat.

We had a few players missing that day, when back we beat them comfortably in the FA cup.
