Chelsea Thread 2014/15

They are better than us. Simple as that, while we brought in a few good players to improve the squad they brought in the top top players to improve their first 11.

Our squad is no less than chelsea's in terms of quality, the main difference is the mentality of players and the coach and the way in which they approach the games. They have started and looked very well though. We looked lethargic and complacent for most parts of the game against Stoke.I hope we can turn it around with the games against arsenal and chelsea.

Costa is a classless prick. I hope Zabaleta sorts him out when we play Chelsea. Howard was right to go over.

Prior to this season I'd probably only seen him play half a dozen or so times, and had the vague impression that he was a bit of a dick. Hadn't realised quite what a **** he is.

I have said it before, but I think City not only have better players in the first 11, but better players in the squad too. Chelsea have a more balanced and better put together team. Mourinho is a master at putting together teams with great chemistry and balance. City still have more players that can pull out with a bit of magic though.

Chelsea havent had their annual meltdown yet
LOL. So true everyone knows and goes on about Arsenal's annual collapse around February, but not many people mention Chelsea's 'difficult moment' (as dubbed by Ancelottli) from about November onwards. For the last 5 years it has been pretty much every season. Will be interesting to see if Mourinho can change this.

For me pellegrini is a bit naive tactically or more so stubborn for not being too flexible with team formations when compared to mourinho.

Pellegrini a bit naive!! Oh dear. Since he arrived in England MP has been in charge for 61 games. Using 3 points for a win and one for a draw, he has wracked up a mere 135 points. In the same period JM, on the other hand, has been in charge of Chelsea for 60 games. He would have amassed 124 points. That includes yesterday's games and puts JM 11 points behind, with a game in hand.
To be fair though Mourinho did win more trophies last year, didn't he?
