Chelsea Thread (2015-16)

Mark my words there are problems again between Jose and Roman, i can see him leving at the end of the season and finally getting the gig at United.

Stories this week again about that centre half being signed without Jose's approval after they missed out on Stones. Things like that don't sit well with a characture like Mourininho.

Not many things sit well with that cnut. Still can't make my mind up if the rags have sunk to the level where they'd wear his antics.

You have to wonder if his treatment of the medics is having an affect here. Sports changing rooms can be incredibly tribal, and those players would never countenance such a scapegoating of their friends. I think he's lost that changing room.

Time for a bit of armchair psychoanalysis - It's all about Mou. Mou knows deep down he's done wrong. More importantly, the English are saying he's done wrong. He felt understood here. That seems to have meant a lot to him - when he was abroad he'd always comment along those lines.

Now he's upset the fan club, he needs to show penance. No, wait.... that's wrong.....he needs to show he's suffering - so he can win back sympathy, without taking responsibility for the wrong he committed. Actually he just made a mistake, but special people don't make mistakes. And in fairness, many managers would worry about an admission of irresponsible behaviour damaging their authority.

Look at last night's interview. "Can't you see the world is against me in a random way (thus it has nothing to do with Evagate)?). Not that it's all show - he really embraces the suffering. It's necessary to convince himself as well as us. All in all - a distraction, a misdirection - to protect the ego and regain favour. Classic manipulative behaviour (....and I should know)

Lots wrong with Chelsea. The problems they had at the end last season still there, but they have a few extra ones. As happens to players past 30 it seems that Ivanovic and Terry have completely fallen off. Hazard is playing poorly and they miss Oscar. Add to that a big reason there defence was so good was the incredible pressing of the front players. It seems they are not fit and aren't pressing like they used to, which leads to the team being exposed even more.

Oscar will come back and Hazard's form will pick up. That will probably be enough to see them get 3rd.

Views on Talksport's Press pass: He drained his players with low rotation last year and high demands, most recently goes public with his frustrations & lowers morale, needed a new striker & centre back in the transfer window but didn't achieve this (not clear if he failed to identify the need or if he was denied his requests), spent more cash than anyone in 2012-13 and 2013-14 (Inside World Football.com cited), and can't achieve on limited funds or tolerate managing within FFP restrictions like Pellegrini can. Also, they say he does not bring on youth but is instead a 'first eleven' manager, which is one reason he never lasts 3 seasons. So he'll now look elsewhere for a new club with the wealth his limited creativity needs (hopefully never us). In any case his growing frustration and the effects on relationships at Chelsea means they'll kick him out if he doesn't flounce off first.

Come on Newcastle: Bottom three for Chelsea would be hilarious!

Pretty good summing up that. Makes sense.

I agree that does make sense when you look it that way, he is like an addictive drug for for time but it never ends well and costs you a lot of money if you want to carry on

Pretty good summing up on talksport that. A psychiatrist would have a field day with him,a total narcissist. He and Chelsea got lucky last season all our injuries,ACON,loss of form to key players, the FFP shite just wore us down in the end.Injuries are still dogging us but we have strengthened well and his tantrums just confirm he knows this, beautiful to watch!

They're fans wouldn't give a fuck if Mourinho was under investigation by Op Yewtree, if he brought them trophies they'd be happy with him. They'd eat up his fucking pre and post match bullshit. They'd love his constant jibes and belittling of other clubs and managers. Hey, that **** and those cunts are a match made in **** heaven.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho swore at Everton manager Roberto Martinez following his side's 3-1 defeat at Goodison Park on Saturday. Mourinho was incensed that Martinez had completed his post-match interview before him. (Daily Star)

And Chelsea staff and the players' wives and partners are reported to be upset over Mourinho's treatment of first-team doctor Eva Carneiro, who has not worked since he criticised her for treating Eden Hazard during a 2-2 draw with Swansea in August. (Daily Mail)

Just wet myself.

Top post!

Anybody else have a really good laugh watching that post-match interview? I was guffawing right the way through it. The man is delirious. Why can't he ever — as in never — simply say "They were better than us. Hats off. Shit happens."
When he gets sacked, it'll be a fake sacking.

He's still denying he was sacked at Chelsea the first time around so yeah, wouldn't surprise me.

It's mainly down to a fundamental lack of performance from their key players. We need to avoid deluding ourselves into thinking Chelsea are a poor side, they're a very good side on an appallingly bad run of results. Players who last season, and in some cases for seasons before, have been quality performers, are making mistakes, or having zero impact on the game. Hazard, Costa, Ivanovic, Terry, Fabregas, these aren't poor players, but to see them so far this season, you'd wonder how they have Premier League winners medals. They'll start to come good eventually (at least in the main, there's age concerns around Terry and Ivanovic at this stage) but, thankfully for City, we've already got an 11 points lead on them. If, between now and the end of the season Chelsea pick up 11 points, or more, on City then I'd be stunned.
