Unsurprisingly, most Chelsea fans have sided with Kepa in this situation.

Really? I'm actually a bit surprised if so. You've had enough problems with player power before to surely realise as a fan base the problems this has stored up, and will store up?

Naturally, I asked some of them what their reaction would have been if it had been Jorginho - the fella the booed last week - who refused to come off for Loftus-Cheek. You can imagine mental gymnastics that ensued when they attempted to explain where they are two completely different situations.
The Mourinhoites should have grabbed that incident and run with it as a prime example of the dressing room being the problem really. Think it's safe to say it is at this stage as well, regardless of how poisonous Maureen is.

Nullified us yesterday and probably deserved the win on reflection. I would stick with Sarri, get rid of the players ruling the dressing room, presume hazard is one and focus on winning Europa cup, either this year or next

I thought it was a risky game-plan to sit back and absorb all that pressure, but probably understandable considering the battering the team has taken in recent weeks. We grew into the game as the second half wore and I thought we were the better team in the last maybe 25 mins plus most of extra time. I was extremely happy with how we played.

And yes, I'd rather purge the squad than get fire yet another coach.

How does a keeper get cramp anyway he is not exactly running about? I think it was miscommunication but surely word should have been given to him?

Me thinks it was fake and pure time wasting by Kepa. From kick off, btw.

Sarri had 1 sub left, question is why. Did he have a plan?
Wasn't he aware he had a 4th sub?

Me and many others thought "oh no" when Willy got ready. Could have been a psychological moment, as Vinnie said.

Maybe Sarri was giving up about Kepa as the thought crept up in him
that he would look stupid forcing Kepa off and losing penalties with Willy then.

They've had a short time frame to get some psychological advantage, but gave it back immediately.
We'll never know.

Nevertheless, Sarri's position is weakened and that's the worst thing a team leader should be in.
Tough times ahead for chavs.

They can't do that, as that would absolve Sarri of any blame, and they would have to drop their anti-Sarri agenda, which has been deemed more important.

They need to realise their anti-Sarri agenda is by necessity also an anti-Maureen, anti-Ancelotti, anti-Di Matteo and anti-Conte one as well. That squad are continually letting coaches down and have turned on quite a few.

The fans, as a collective, have decided that Sarri must go, so therefore Sarri must be blamed - in this instance, he is being accused of being weak and hanging his player out to dry - I have no idea how, but oh well, that is what the masses have decided.

Yeah, quite a few did that with Pellegrini over the last 18 months of his tenure (a small minority for the whole 3 years). Guardiola didn't think much of that squad though.

I realise it's grossly unfair to be asking you to answer for others with whom you don't agree, but who on earth do they expect to agree to come in and take over if the players are in complete control? Again!
