Can I also just say that, although I found Kepa to quite disrespectful, I also didn't like Sarri's reaction - trying to rip his top off, throwing stuff at the bench, threatening to storm out of the stadium etc. I've never seen anything like it.

Sarri should inform someone at Cobham to empty Kepa's locker and inform him tomorrow morning that hes training with the u21s.

I've never seen a manager so publicly humiliated in my life.

It's not just Kepa, if Ederson wanted to stay on in that situation, fernandinho, Kompany, Otamendi, Silva etc would put their arm around his shoulder and remind him he has to go off.

For no one to intervene shows how little respect they have for the manager

It was mostly the walking down the tunnel bit that left me a bit baffled. Was he really going to abandon his team right in the middle of a game, before a shootout? I know he didn't actually walk out, but just the idea that he thought about it is bonkers.

That has to go down as one of the most disgusting things i have seen on a football pitch, If Sarri doesn't walk then he should ensure that Kepa doesn't feature for Chelsea again while he is there.

I’d certainly drop him for the rest of the season. Big Willy is a more than capable replacement.

And I’d strip Azpilicueta of the captaincy too.

Yes, I guess an emotional reaction. If being kind I suppose you could say he was composing himself. But I think personally I'd be quite forgiving of him just because no one has ever seen such a thing before, who knows how they might react?

Kepa was feigning injury to wind the clock down anytime City got a little run together. He faked it so much the bench even believed it.

I would have prefered willy between the sticks if I were a chelsea fan.

I thought this was obvious. Even the Sky commentators questioned a keeper getting cramp but didn't go down the route that it was a bit of gamesmanship.

Me and many others thought "oh no" when Willy got ready. Could have been a psychological moment, as Vinnie said.

Maybe Sarri was giving up about Kepa as the thought crept up in him
that he would look stupid forcing Kepa off and losing penalties with Willy then.

They've had a short time frame to get some psychological advantage, but gave it back immediately.
We'll never know.

Nevertheless, Sarri's position is weakened and that's the worst thing a team leader should be in.

Yes he was an irritating little shit wasting time every chance he got. As for their horrible mouthy aggressive fan's the tougher time the better. At least I didn't have to fight my way back to the hotel like the old days so maybe they have progressed a bit.

yep and they wasted all those minutes fucking about to try and take it to penalties with the sub - no sub - goalie with cramp (wtf?) and did Fatty moss add any time on did he fuck
