Yeah, it's just what other people have been saying about City's owners for years. I like to take to the piss whenever an opportunity to comes up :)

Not the best game in the world. We clearly lacked the penetration and cutting edge to break down Newcastle's parked bus. It's another learning curve - Sarriball will run into these types of games more often than not, so it's great to have a game like this where we struggled but still come away with the win - I'm sure Sarri and the players learnt a lot and will be a lot better the next time they face a team with 10 men inside their box.

The next game should be more fun for us (and the neutral) - Bournemouth at home. They won't set up like Newcastle, so we could have some fun against them. We can be got at too, so they could have some joy against our defence too.

I'm pleasantly surprised that we have so far managed to go through huge learning curves vs different types of opposition whilst still winning. Learning the new system whilst picking up 3 points every week is definitely going to leave us in a great position when things eventually do begin to click.

I have never rated Marcos Alonso particularly highly, and I have always felt we could do better on that right side, but he is turning into the definition of a clutch player - scored 2 goals in a 2-1 win away vs Spurs including a very later winner. Scored another very late goal away vs Arsenal (game eventually finished 2-2 because we were crap at holding leads last season), scored another late goal vs Arsenal this season.

That is only the big games - he saved our skin this weekend and countless of other times. He has scored 14 league goals in 7 assists in 2 seasons + 3 games, in contrast Willian has scored 25 goals in 5 seasons + 3 games.

Can't have asked for a better start, if I'm honest. We're still struggling with creating chances against parked busses, but we're getting the wins, while Sarri fine tunes the team to his ideal way of playing.

I did not expect us to sit here with 4 wins out of 4, but here we are.
