They're in for an interesting summer. They've got to nail the manager appointment, whoever they decide to bring in. And shed about 10 players.
And they have to start cutting their losses. I wonder how many of their players take a pay cut if they don't make CL?

Pretty sure I read somewhere that it is stipulated in their contracts. If that’s true they’ve already agreed to it.

I don’t know whether Boehly realises that some of them will be unsaleable except for peanuts. Some will refuse to go if that means a pay cut. They may finish up having to sell some of their better players to balance the books. If that happens, it is the way to the abyss.They're in for an interesting summer. Chelsea need to allow a decent manager the time to imbed his philosophy, like Arteta has been allowed at Arsenal. They have trusted the process and despite their recent two draws look the real deal.
A Chelsea team, with strong and stable management would be a formidable prospect.
Just as well they’ll never allow that to happen.
