If you get Potter Chelsea will get their mojo back IMHO, it might take a season but you'll be on the right track.
Harsh imo. Nothing to dislike about him, seems a decent sort to meCan’t stand Potter so I hope he loses his next 6 games as chavs manager, Potter just a slimy wanker.
That’s not the point, it’s not like the USA where a team like the Dodgers can stick with a manager even if he doesn’t do well because it doesn’t affect Revenue that much. In the Premiership if you fail to get top 4 the club loses significant amounts of money and the ability to attract top players. If Potter starts next season badly you’ll be following the Abramovich model and off he will pop.
Oh sorry, I thought you were taking issue with me saying we won't be anywhere near City. Misread your post, apologies. But yeah I don't think you're wrong. It's a risky move and underpeforming in the league can have big ramifications, so it's all well and good talking about sticking with a manager long term but that's only possible if the manager fulfils the bare minimum of top 4 each season.
Can probably handle one season out of the CL, if we just barely missed out but languishing in 6th miles away from top 4 in points would likely be a tough situation for both Boehly and Potter. Hopefully it won't ever come to that.
I hope so. I'm excited by this appointment, though I feel pretty downbeat about losing Tuchel.
He sent his team out to kick us off the park just before the CL final, then last season Potter said before playing us “ he just wants to hug Pep” but Pep was having none of it and rightly so after what went on in 2021, since then iv just not taken to him, just think he’s a slimy twat that’s all my opinion, you think he’s ok that’s fine.Harsh imo. Nothing to dislike about him, seems a decent sort to me
We're about to witness Potter go from Harry to Brian quicker than you can say 'Expelliarmus Boehly'
That would be a Bridge over troubled watersVery worried if JT takes over.
