It's a bit OTT. It was a very good cross, definitely. But not world class. The one that always comes to mind for me is Kev's cross, on the run, from the right wing in the second half of the Stoke (?) game to Leroy to score in front of the North Stand in the 17/18 season. All about opinions, I guess.Like I said, 8/9 times out of ten he'd have hit the defenders ankles or sliced it out of play - but yes, thank God this time it came off. An excellent cross.

I'd rather let whoever had the bollocks to try taking the armband off him be captain, tbh.It's been explained before but Thiago Silva is the de facto captain of the team. The armband doesn't really mean much in that sense, because the leaders will always still lead. If you had taken the armband off Kompany and given it to Sterling for example
I know your post was three and a half a weeks ago and I’m just catching up, but it seems that post could have been posted again today and still felt relevant. I’ve watched all your fakes so far this season (I record most games to have on during the day) and genuinely think Chelsea should have probably won 5 of the 6 you’ve played.
How have your management spent so much money without buying a forward that can hit 20-30 goals a season? It’s mad how poor the finishing has been but on the flip side, you can surely only under perform your xG for so long until it reverts to the mean?
I agree, I actually feel we should have won 6 out of 6 so far based on the performances in each game.
I think the thinking behind signing a project striker was sound considering almost everyone else we've signed the last two windows have been project players, and also Nkunku would have been one of the main goal scorers for us, so his injury was a devastating blow. Broja still working his way back, so it really was just Jackson by himself every single game and that's tough for him.

Would love to see Pellegrini take armband and start himself in at CB :)

Well he wouldn't the starting 10 if Carney and Nkunku were fit. He's essentially the best 10 we have available after the main two 10's suffered long term injuries.
