I would take issue with the term "major" when you refer to Europe ! In my opinion you have won 2 major European trophies to our 1. Some, including me, would argue that the Europa league is not a major trophy. City have been competing in the CL and although only won it once, have a better record in terms of finals, semis, etc, than Chelsea in the last 12 years. Had we been in the Europa league I think there would have been a very good chance we might have won it a few times over the last 10 years, as the standard is nowhere near as high as the CL ! Also, the super and world club trophies are 100% not major trophies, just prestige friendlies in reality. As for the domestic trophies most would say the FA and league cups do count as major trophies. I quite like Poch but he would be better served not making daft comments. He has never won a domestic trophy whilst managing in England !

You've been in it twice in the last twelve years. Got knocked out at the round of sixteen stage both times.

Like previously stated on here,he's won fuck all here,and that trend isn't likely to change anytime soon neither.

The Cup Winners Cup is a great thing to have won!

To be honest, when I look back to our success in the same comp in 1998, I remember sheer joy.

Its easy to be a little arrogant when we see, for example, West Ham win the European Conference, but the joy of European success when you're a club without endless riches is amazing!

So realistically,what are hopes and expectations for this season from you ?

Realistically I think we just need to see a degree of stability at first. Some semblance of a cohesive unit.

A lot has been made here about Poch's comments about the last 15yrs, but for me the most important thing he referenced yesterday was only wanting players who want to play for our club.

My opinion is there's been quite a few Chelsea players who downed tools and decided to abandon us long before the season was done. It's been disappointing to say the least.

If we can establish a new sense of who we are then my hope is that we can make a challenge for a top four spot. However, that task is not an easy one so certainly not an expectation.

Yes I would agree that the Europa is a major trophy, comparable to the uefa Cup, but this guy is trying to say the league and fa cups are not major trophies when clearly they are.
