We’re a bit light in midfield now having let go of Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Loftus-Cheek and Mount. We need two sign at least two midfielders now, starting with Caicedo.

Don’t know what’s going on at Chelsea. The way it’s going selling off their best players they’re going to be in a relegation scrap next season.

They've done very well getting £60m+ for Mount and Havertz, 2 underwhelming players in my opinion.

It certainly hurts to see some of our players leave, and especially when they go to direct rivals (Kova, Kai, Mount).

But the reality for us is that we haven't been competitive (ie challenging for the title) for a good few years now.

And whilst I probably wouldn't have opted for a scorched earth policy had we still had Roman in charge, what's happened has happened, and as such we need a hard reset, and this is what we're getting.

High risk? Definitely. Fortune favours the brave, I hope.
