lol embarrassing

Your post is embarrassing and the majority of modern day football is embarrassing. Everybody telling everybody what they can and can't celebrate. Even idiot City fans last year trying to mock United celebrating winning an FA Cup, against us. It is fucking mad.

We go to football in the hope our sides win, whatever level you are playing at you want success. Be that Pappa Johns Trophy, Play off elation or major honours or titles. Fucking hell, we even mock teams winning the league cup (whilst loving it when we do it ourselves) If you can't be happy if your team lifts a pot, what's the point of it all?

Was only joking :-). I see winning the conference league at the same level as the league cup. So in level between Charity Shield and FA Cup.

Id say Europa League is more league up.

Conference is more Johnson's paint trophy

It's actually harder to win the League cup than the conference league. More than half the teams we've faced in this tournament would be lower league teams if they played in England. Our semifinals opponents were a midtable team from the Swedish league.

Having said that though, the players and the club celebrating this is perfectly fine. And for the fans who travelled out there. It's a final and there's been a whole journey to get to that point, so fair enough imo. The rest of us at home, we're relieved we didn't lose the final and we move on with our lives.

Chelsea ended up in that competition almost by default.
They were rewarded for a poor season. This isn't the intention of that tournament. Its really to give european experience to teams like Brighton, Bournemouth etc. Teams that would not normally make top 4 in our league.
Maresca played a blinder, not including Palmer and a few others , in the original panel and then bringing them in to the second panel.
You can only beat what's in front of you and it will be interesting to see Chelsea in the Champions league and CWC.

Ironically you lot bottling the FA Cup final last season is the reason we were dumped into this tournament. We had originally qualified for the EL via our league position.

But yes, I agree. This tournament wasn't really meant for underperforming big clubs with mammoth budgets. Chelsea being in this felt a bit unfair to the teams and the spirit of the tournament was more for teams you mention to have a taste of European football. The problem is the PL is so strong now that we're bound to have very good team in this almost every season.

It will be Forest next season and that's more what the conference league is for, but if United and Spurs fix up next season, the top 8 will basically be teams that could compete in the CL.

Do you really think the rags and spurs will get things fixed??? Tee hee!

Winning something is indeed great - and we'll done.
Making it out to be bigger than it is and being slightly misleading/over emphasising, isn't.
European winners!!!
Whilst strictly true ...... disingenuous really.

Are they going to pursue the signing of Sancho seeing as he has actually done something positive last night ?

Surely better to send the **** back to the rags and help make their life even harder?

Liew on sky sports was touching himself inappropriately earlier whilst discussing the possibility of 'Three kids rejected by Pep leading Chelsea'.
Shows the quality of what our academy is now churning out. Mental we used to get accused of never bringing youngsters through.
