Chicago?
I think the streets are mean.
I think the streets are mean.
Of course the Cubs season is over silly. After all it’s October!!I paid a fortune (for me) for a meal at a restaurant at the top of the John Hancock building with a window table. The views would of been stunning if it hadn't been thick cloud at the top and couldn't see a bloody thing. Went back the day after when it was clear and it was stunning views across the city and Lake Michigan.
Loved Chicago as a city. Much more than say New York which was just a bit too full on for me. Did a cubs game which was a great experience but i think that baseball is done this season for the cubs now.
Just looking at the trip advisor reviews of blue Chicago, did you encounter the bouncer that everyone seems to be moaning about? My favourite city in the US. The Art Institute is a must. If you’re into that kind of thing, the Shedd Aquarium is also outstanding. Make sure you spend one evening/early morning at Blue Chicago jazz club. Close by there is a great little bar that’s open until 5am, but damned if I can remember the name.
I’ve been there a few times over the last 10-15 years. I know there is a bouncer, but have no recollections of him, good or bad. Some people will moan about anything online. Usual rules apply - don’t be a dick and you’ll be fine.Just looking at the trip advisor reviews of blue Chicago, did you encounter the bouncer that everyone seems to be moaning about?

Yep online reviews are usually done by the knobs who couldn't get in, there's a few on trip advisor complaining that they were asked to pay to get in, fuck me if thems the rules thems the rules,I’ve been there a few times over the last 10-15 years.
