Lost control of the game after 15 minutes.

Poor referee, you can't justify and make excuses for some of his decisions today.

Oh and by the way, he's an Everton fan.

Unbelievable the shite that has been spouted on this subject. Apart from the Tevez non-penalty incident Foy did pretty well I thought, encouraging play to continue when several refs would have blown and stopped the flow of the game. It was probably for this reason why it was such an entertaining game and we scored so many goals.

I think Norwich felt more aggrieved than we did at some decisions going against them. So get a life and enjoy the victory.

It was the biggest decision of the game , he was 10ft away, he got it wrong.

Didnt give the foul on Hart also in the 1st 15 mins, from which Lescott cleared off the line. 2 Key decisions he got wrong in the oppositions favour again against us.

He was a disgrace from the off, you could see the relative change in the stance of the Norwich players and Foy when we scored the second, they all looked down at heart

Half as many fouls as the opposition, twice as many yellows. I know it isn't neccessarily as simple as that but in this case that stat nicely sums up his performance. Away from home this season it has been a recurring story of the opposition committing lots of little fouls all over the pitch and not getting carded and a City player getting carded for more or less the first foul. The Stoke game was a very good example of this "tactic". It just means there is not neccessarily a terrible game changing decision that can be highlighted but it makes the match vastly more difficult for us when the opposition are allowed to break up our game at will without punishment and a few of our players spend the whole match worrying about getting a second yellow.

Stop moaning about little things, guys. Wait until we get Webb or Clattenburg for the derby.

Please God no. Has to be Mike Dean for this game.

The same rule applies in our home games as well.
Generally first foul=booking whilst opponents usually get at least three chances with the notable exceptions off:
Charlie Adam
Scott Parker
Paul Scholes
Whom can all do as many as they like.

Tevez: penalty. Simple. Foy saw it clearly and recognized an early opportunity.
Aguero: penalty. Every contact is not unlawful. Inside the box, however, there was a clear, definite push to drive the player off the ball. Can't do that. Foy had an unobstructed view and wheeled away not wanting to know. Foy saw it clearly and recognized an early opportunity.
Hart: do me a favour. Couple of days ago linesman flags for a foul on De Gea when he couldn't possibly have seen anything as a. he was too far away, and b. ryan Giggs was in the way as is, and c. there was nothing to see anyway. Giggs reaction to the foul, standing six feet to de gea's left, and looking directly at the "incident" was simply to clap his hands together in frustration at conceding the goal. That tell you something?

Week-in, week-out, game after game this is going on and on. The more matches you watch, the more you see it. I think anyone that expresses an opinion on this area of the game ought to tell everyone their sample-size. One game a week and highlights means your opinion is pretty much worthless.

Minor example - Mike fucking Jones yesterday goes over to the corner flag to inspect the position of the ball after howls from the fans and stood right over it, did a double check and was satisfied. Problem for this useless going-through-the-motions-twat was that the camera had zoomed in, and the ball was a good three inches outside the line. What did he see then?
