Christmas markets

Stand in a shed drinking warm shite Vimto in a mug or overpriced piss in a plastic pot with a coat scarf and hat on

Or stand inside a pub opposite looking at the sad excited f###ers drinking beer in a glass half the price and it’s warmer so I can take my hat off

Let me think about it !!!

Brilliant

Plus the Birmingham one is much better than Manchester in my opinion. Although I wouldn't rush back to either of them!
Birmingham's one is the biggest outside of Germany and Austria.

If I get lumbered into going then the one in Winchester is very good when we are down that way. Also saw Yorks and it was nicely done.

Look at the Sunday Times Best list. Not a Manchester in sight.

I bet you choose the Christmas Markets?

Lincoln had one for forty years but has been closed as of this year. I went once about eight years ago when a new relationship tipped the balance of my mind. Basically, one cup of mulled wine and a not unpleasant walk around the scenic part of the city. Wouldn't feel the need to go again but a shame for the adjacent traders/ pubs etc and anyone who genuinely enjoyed it.

Went to Budapest Christmas market in 2019, it was pissing down & a rip off just the same as Manchester but with nicer surroundings
