Christmas markets

Be alright in Summer. Don't see the appeal of doing anything outdoors in this country between October and April. The weather is horrendous. Who wants to stand outside in the cold getting robbed blind for shit food and beer.

One slight problem with a Christmas Market in Summer :-)

Not strictly a Christmas market, but went to the "Twilight Trail" at Mayfield Park last night.
Great use of lights and music, and the mirrorballs over the Medlock look fantastic.
There's Gluhwein, beer and snacks available in the park, but we nipped next door to Freight Island for some Parmo and beers.
For me, it wasn't rammed so felt comfortable, so much more preferable to the crowded and overpriced drink and food offers at the markets.
