Cinema Prices - Why Are They So Greedy?

I'm a cheap skate but I honestly feel cinema's are a reasonable price for a few hours of entertainment.

Comfy seats, big screen experience you can't get anywhere else unless you were a millionaire, it's a one off experience that I don't do every other week thus I'm happy to spend £30 on me and the Chick I've pulled.

I mean to buy a bluray it's £20 lol.
Yes you own it forever but come on, you know you'll be selling that disc at a car boot sale next summer.

Cinemas are spot on, just a shame most films are shit these days lol.

I never buy refreshments at the cinema.

I regularly go to Met Opera and National theatre simulcasts.
They are always packed out.
You want to see everyone at the interval!
Out comes tupperwares full of sarnies, fairy cakes, flasks of coffee, mini bottles of wine, bottles of water.

Cinema staff don't give a toss.

The ex and I would go to the pictures most Wednesday's as it was 2 for 1. It was an affordable night out and a chance to be together as we didn't shack up every night.

Date number 3 was Borat. I remember burying my head in her shoulder when he caught the fat bloke wanking over that Baywatch annual.

I have a cineworld unlimited card £17.50 a month, I get loads of use out of it, take my own snacks and a drink, love watching in the big screen I tend to go during the day with the rest of the geeks so there isn't much hassle with people on phens etc, if there is I tell the bastards.

Beer at the pictures would be nice. I'll be having a couple of cold ones watching Don't Take Me Home on DVD as soon as I nab a copy.

Bollocks.

Yes the screen is big, but you're sat far away from it to get the whole thing in your eyeline, might as well stream at home on a decent-sized tv and lie on the couch.

Also, then you can pause it for a wee.
