We are MCFC, not some geeks with a drum and shite songs. I've seen the songs on facebook from print screens on twitter and they're an utter embarrassment.

in your opinion though, which is fair enough. a lot of people agree with the main principles behind the group, one week you seem to be behind the idea the next week your not. I personally would rather have some effort made towards improving the declining atmosphere. which is happening in every ground in the country

I'm all for a group like TBA who are decent lads who know what a day out at football involves but no nerds with a fucking drum who don't have a clue about football culture.

what the football culture of sitting on your arse and only making a noise to complain or the one where you stand up for 90 minutes with your arms folded and then only sing when we score- some culture ( my own personal opinion). Dont see whats wrong with trying to emulate the amazing atmosphers teams like poznan or aris have or trying to improve the already declining atmosphere. If it works it works if it doesnt then at least we can say we tried.

crystal palace do have a good atmsophere though. Yes not on the same level as poznan or european teams but its still a lot better than ours ( constant songs and singing even when losing from there ultras). We have a couple of good atmsopheres a season mainly against united. If we get laughed out the ground so what ? at least we tried.

if you dont like it then fair enough. But you cant deny the atmosphere needs improving just likeat every otherr ground- go on any forum of any team and there will be a thread on how bad the atmosphere is.

There is lots of talk about a drum and time and time again i explain we are not using a drum in the future at an EDS match one may be used for 1 game just to try it but at the minute and future as far as we can see there is NO DRUM. FULL STOP no drum, can we please end this now and why would we be laughed out of the ground for what singing.

If you dislike the song please can you say why and suggest better idea. Otherwise fuck off im getting sick of people belittling us, if you would rather sit in silence then that's your own choice but don't start calling people that don't. Also we may try things at the EDS games but all the things we try are trial and error, just be cause we try one thing it doesn't mean that we are going to do it every game, and like was said we are going to EDS games out of the way to try these things.

Either back us or leave us alone. I have seen constructive criticism on here and i would like people to to criticize constructively but some of its just blatant nastiness and from fellow blue.

One last thing which it seems i have to keep reminding people: THERE IS NO DRUM.

As already pointed out, the emboldened statement is probably the biggest pile of steaming horseshit in a thread with a lot of contenders.

When the German FA tried to put ticket prices up by just [was it?] 7.5% there were fans out in their hundreds of thousands across the country marching in protest. What did us English do when Taylor brought out his utterly bullshit report?

All seated stadiums killed English football culture.

We're just as bad today when we're taken the piss out of with ticket prices across the country and still pay for them at £58 a pop. We're happily being raped up the arse out of or money to go and watch football. I'm part of that too. Why is that? What is it about the English that we just accept being taken advantage of?

So you still assert that the laziness of todays 40/50 year old fans when it came to opposing the Taylor guidelines is to blame for modern footballs ills?
Like a lot of supporters i went less and less in response to the changing face of going to the match. I remeber paying 50p for a raffle ticket in a portakabin at Maine Road to be a 'member' and qualify for buying a ticket.
The all -seater rules were forced on the clubs by the FA. The fans had no say and no choice in the matter.
As for emulating the German approach, the whole of English football, from ownership through to the FA needs to be re-structured. Fans have little if a influence at club level, and clubs have even less with the FA.
I've made my stand on ticket prices etc by not going to as many games. as i'd like to. I gave up my season ticket years ago.

It is part of it all, yes. My Dad's 55 and has said himself fans and clubs should have done more to oppose all-seater plans and work out alternatives. But I suppose hindsight is a wonderful thing.

The only thing about not going is that it's not really solving the problem as others will take the place of those who've decided not to go. We as fans should be loading with the FSF more in this country. £58 for an away ticket at Stamford Bridge is unacceptable.
