I don't know for how long I can sit back and watch this unfold without throwing my 10 pence in and have a bit of a rant.

I am by no means for this 'movement', and as someone who isn't a member of the BA, but still travels with them 90% of the time, I can they are overall a great set of lads. Uninviting and 'just a stag do'? Give it a rest, the lads who put the coaches on, book out pubs, sort tickets, make banners, sort displays etc.. spend a good chunk of their everyday lives putting these things together for the good of other fans. They should be given the respect they deserve. Of course there is the odd nugget but you can't put 100+ lads together and not expect that.

We all talk of Maine Road like it were a cauldron for atmosphere but was it really as good as we fantasise about? As a kid at Maine Road I rarely remember any sort of mad atmosphere having only been old enough to remember from 98ish onwards and yes the Etihad is pretty bloody quiet but that's just how home games are nowadays in 90% of English grounds.

Dortmund, Aris, Poznan have a completely different culture, they are bred as ULTRAS or what have you.
We, as City fans, have our own culture, we are renowned for our fanbase being loyal and with our rather unique sense of humour so let's not forget where we come from. I don't see the need for drastic change, and another group of lads with a megaphone and a 'Capo' will do nothing other than create an unnecessary divide between the fans.
Good luck to this Citizens lot, but just be careful in what you aim to do. Embrace OUR own culture and further that, just like the BA lot have tried and are succeeding in doing, don't try and radicalise us. Rant over.

Each to there own and all that but this whole organised supporting stuff doesn't sit right with me. It seems to work for European teams but, culturally, the way we support our sides in England has been ingrained into the DNA of football fans for generations. This whole things feels too forced and unnatural to me.

We aren't trying to force an atmosphere, these are just some song idea's, some are bad some might be good. It isn't a plan to get everyone in the stadium involved, just to group people together who want to actually sing rather than stand in the singing section as a fashion statement then just stand there silently.

It isnt meant to be forced, hopefully it won't come out like that tonight.

I was really meaning forced as in "I feel forced to participate", I was more meaning forced as in "it's not a naturally achieved atmosphere". It seems a little regimented "you do this, then they do that, then these other people do this...". As I said, on the continent it seems to work, the bloke in the away end when Poznan came to our ground with a megaphone being a case in point, he orchestrated the crowd. I just don't see it working with a British crowd, our songs tend to kick of in a more natural way, one randon bloke starts a chant that his mates joinin on and suddenly there's a rousing rendition of Bluemoon being sung.

Yeah that's true, that's the culture in English football. However, surely you agree that the atmosphere is really going down hill recently? All we are doing here is attempting to change that, if it works and boosts the atmosphere surely that's a good thing? And if it fails miserably its not the end of the world. Like I said earlier, there is no harm in trying!

Fair enough on you're opinions though, if it's not you're cup of tea there's no problem with that, and at least you can explain you're views reasonably rather than pointlessley trying to slag other blues off! Unlike some others on here.

The people that will be at the EDS game, before i start this song i'll seperate you in half then i'll build it up by by putting my hands in the air and going "ohhhhh" (like you see in the video) then i'll shout "Bobby Mancs" then the half to my right will reply with "blue white army" then the side to my left will do the "Bobby Mancs" part then the side to my right "blue white army" and so on. When it's your sides turn you will point to the other side as you chant either "Bobby Mancs" or "blue white army" Then after a while the drum will kick in with a beat and both sides will start bouncing to it. Then repeat it from the start.

I was wondering if the Citizens have any ties with other Ultra groups either in the UK or Europe who could provide guidance on how to to dress etc. I think its important that the City ultras group look the part and wear the right clobber. Can you imagine if a load of fat bellied blokes weraing stone washed denim and shit trainers turn up.I know some people like DD will frown at this, but wouldnt it be great if people wore sunglasses at the EDS game. I know its dark, but the Napoli boys looked cool at our place, though one did walk into a lampost.

Do you know, Billy, they've said nothing about their dress code except you must wear City merchandise.

In fact they've been vague about pretty much everything. Drum? Capo? Trumpets? Big hands? If I were being a cynic I might suggest they haven't got a twatting clue what they are doing.

On the day of their big game I think it would be very useful for interested parties to hear a little "Mission Statement" from The Capo. None of us even know who he is. If people are going to be led I think it's only fair they know who's doing the leading. Fair enough?

These foreign sorts usually have numerous songs going on during a game. What will the Citizens do? Will they sing 'Blue' and the BA sing 'Moon', Citizens 'you', BA 'saw'.... and so on?

The Holmesdale Fanatics seemed to have the right look, and not too expensive either judging by the photos Ive seen on here. Me and my mate are coming down on his scooter, gonna steam round Hyde snatching hand bags from the old birds outside Farm Shop and whacking scrotes round the head with me belt buckle.
