City’s Top Five Keepers Of All Time

Can’t possibly judge anybody fairly from pre TV era, so for me.

Coton
Hart
Corrigan
Weaver
Given

I’ve deliberately left out undoubtedly very good keepers, like Schmeichel, Seaman and James as their City careers were pretty short lived and mainly when they well past their best.
Respect your opinion mate, but Coton at No1 ahead of the two Joe’s? Really? And where’s Ederson?

TC should definitely have played for England, when Beasant and Ian Walker managed to pick caps up. Heard a story that Swales scuppered that in his FA capacity to avoid paying Watford an additional fee.
That story isn’t true. We had Swales at one of our branch meetings the night before an England game, he announced that Coton would make his debut for England the next day. Graham Taylor thought different however.
