City’s Top Five Keepers Of All Time

In my time
Corrigan (I was very young, so only saw him play live on the odd occasion I went to the matches in the 70s )
Coton
Hart
Ederson
Given

They all have different abilities too.
Ederson is the best I've seen with his feet, anywhere.
Given's shot stopping.
Coton. Tough start but what a shot stopper and what a presence.
Hart made big, big saves at crucial moments.
Big Joe was unbelievable from memory and was City through and through.

Trautmann
Swift
Corrigan
Hart
Ederson

I put Trautmann above swift because old Joe RIP god bless him told me that Bert just had the edge, big Joe is 3rd because of how he turned the jeers to cheers.
Joe Hart was a really good shot stopper, I very nearly gave Coton the edge over Ederson but Edersons distribution just nicked it.

The Ipswich (?) game at Maine Road, wasn't it? Nothing would have got past him that night!
I remember it well, probably his best performance. Him behind the sticks and Goater's goals were what got us up that season. Got found out the next season mind.

My son is called Joe, after Corrigan.
Trautmann was my boyhood hero, a great goalie capable of wonderful saves.
Joe Hart was the best At one v ones I have ever seen.
PS I see Tony Coton has been mentioned now. Good.
