City after Higuain

Mancini tried for one of the best wingers, Sanchez, but it didn't happen. I suspect Mancini didn't feel anyone else who was available was good enough for where we are heading and spent the cash on other areas he wanted to improve on.

It takes time to build a world class squad and can't be done in a couple of transfer windows. This summer is a very big summer for us and for Mancini, the next purchases will make or break Mancini and will define whether we push on or stand still.

TBF the only thing that can derail are summer will be not being able to get rid of the deadwood as this will account for around £60mill of our spend. If we can add the likes of Martinez, Higuain, Hummels and Hazard, we will have enough depth, pace, skill, technique, width and grit to challenge for the CL and thrash most teams in the prem.

Hazard, Ben Arfa & possibly Marin are better than Sanchez.

lol, no.

Ben Arfa and Marin aren't even close to Sanchez's level (that got him to the world's best team), though Hazard looks to be. Marin already looks like he has peaked, he's been bad this season compared to others and can't get in Germany's team anymore (bench at best nowadays). Ben Arfa is good but still not close to Sanchez's current level which is why he is playing for Newcastle at the age of 25.
