Pointless outswingers easily cleared then everyone has to sprint back to defend ,you can put it in without much swing and the only decent ones were a couple of KDBs that went straight

Bournemouth and it won the game for them, but its been this way for years now

Remember teams deliberately giving Stoke corners as opposed to throw ins so that player ( can't remember his name) couldn't take his long throw in, sure teams give us corners knowing full well we are shite at them, lol

Our corners reflect our manager, stubborn.

We persist with the exact same routine on the off chance that when it works, it's effectively a goal. I stress the word "when".

The time the other week we had an in swinger, which Navas took (was it Southampton, or Swansea?) and we scored. But do we start to take in swingers? No, no, no that's far to revolutionary and too much common sense for the engineer.

With in swingers all you have to do is hit an area, and then there's a decent chance someone can get their head to it. It's in the area of uncertainty and how many times do you see the traditional "goal poacher" get goals from corner tap ins. Kelechi in this sense would thrive from these sorts of corners. With our current version we can only aim at one man, if that goes wrong the hole corner is deemed nullified. It also leads to opponents counter attacks if we're not careful.

It really does baffle me why we persist.

12/13 corners in a game without getting near any of them is about a lack of tactics or preparation on the training pitch.
