City Announces Global Partnership with Viagogo

A lot of them are twats. Non-City supporting twats who need to fuck off permanently from our stadium and never be seen again.

After the Liverpool game the lad who sits behind me told me it’d be best if I just went home, because the place was full of twats and I was losing my cool.

Loads of them with the red Lpool half of their ‘friendship scarves’ (yes, that’s the real name of what we call half’n’half half scarves) on show taking photos with the Lpool away end in the background of their photo.

They were everywhere.

Two were walking down my row towards the away end and I didn’t move for them and I called them Scouse cunts. They claimed they weren’t Scousers yet I could see them taking photos in front of the Lpool away end on my way out.
Another was filming the Lpool away end as he was leaving the stadium, I shouted ‘what are you filming them for you Scouse ****’ at him n’all and he started claiming he wasn’t and said ‘your fans shush no sound their fans sing so I film’ in some broken English.

Twats. Pretending not to be Lpool fans, twats. Not interested in City, twats.
A real reply from a real Blue.

That’s working well I see.

I hardly know Kevin Parker. What I don’t like is bullying so when I see pile ons just because somebody is in the OSC or sometimes another minority group, I tend to stick up for them.

I’ve told this analogy before but when I read about, for example, people being attacked at the match due to mistaken identify, it takes me back to the late 70s and 80s in Manchester schools. The bullies would probably beat up the Asian kids but run a mile from doing so to the black kids whose cousins would probably turn up and give them a good hiding.

It would work better if we didn't have half of them staying quiet. As someone else said, they've clearly bypassed the ticket sub committee too, just what will it take for Parker to come out?

OSC and the SC rep join Alex and the rest, the club HAS to act

Rest of your post, not sure what you're on about

City want to be careful, no more season tickets being made available so you can’t move and have your kids sat with you for generations like most have us have been brought up. It’s a put up or shut up attitude.

Catering more and more for the 1 game a season gang who come and empty their pockets in the club shop. Old Bob and his lad from Moston aren’t wanted anymore who buy a bag of chips between them from the chippy over the road but have done for 30 odd years.

The local fanbase will start to drop off when people can’t go with their family anymore. The problem is our tourist attraction isn’t as big as what they think it is yet, that’s why they are letting you have another 4 tickets for the likes of Leicester, the tourists want the glamour games because we don’t have the pull on our own yet, and if we have another season or two like this one where let’s be frank, the football has been boring slow and slow unsuccessful then the tourists will find another club to worship.

Other than Haaland the tourists aren’t interested in anyone as we’ve allowed them to grow old and inaffective, if they want the tourists filling this new stand we need to be awesome on that pitch and that’s gonna mean hell of a lot spent in the summer,
Otherwise they are gonna be begging the likes of old Bob and his lad to come back.
Half hope the 115 relegates us just to teach them a lesson

Corrected for City.

Welcome to the Man City Ticket Touting Family.

What a fucking disgraceful tweet that is by City.

Blatantly rubbing it in the faces of City fans from the City Media department. OK'd by those in charge above

'Welcome to the Man City Family' Lol!

You utter cunts!

Wording pissed me off as well mate. As though we're all on board with this and welcoming them with open arms.

Foul company and the club should be ashamed of partnering with them.

Next week me and my mrs are going to watch Crewe. We miss not going to watch City but we are not paying those prices. I know others too who are giving up on watching their club. And ultimately I think the rest of football will benefit from PL clubs pricing core fans out. We all want that excitement, the match day, the ritual etc and our club especially have shown it doesn't matter at what level it is. So maybe women's football will grow more, local or lower league football especially.

I think the PL will price core football fans out, it will grow still but it won't be the same for us. Fair enough, things change.

But once PL football has eaten itself and their product isn't as globally popular, and the tourists don't want to come, I will most likely be watching Crewe.

No.
But if I did, my customers would be my first priority.

I work in retail.
The company I work for have a saying.
'Go the extra mile for the customer'.
I do, and always have done.

I'll give you one example of a company that looks after it's customers.
Octopus Energy.
They answer calls almost straightaway.(unlike our ticket office)
The staff are always polite, courteous, knowledgeable, and sort out any issues.
They are brilliant.
For that alone I won't switch to another energy company, even though Octopus offer great energy deals.

For me customer service and the way I'm treated is very important.
Of course customers are of the upmost importance but City have come a long way since 2008 and are now a global business with hundreds of thousands of potential customers who are willing to spend £££ to attend.
City know every penny I spend in the club, which isn't much after my season ticket.
I know where I am in the pecking order, things are different now and I won't waste my time barking at the moon.
It's sad for us legacy fans but it is what it is, just gonna hang on to my ticket until they find a way to deprive me of it.

I agree. A common (didn’t want to say United) front would be better.

Even more so now the Club are taking the piss through their profiteering with Vianogo.

I get that.

But City are deliberately prioritising tourists fans over legacy fan because tourists fans spend more money.

But when City stop winning trophies, or are in dog fight for a CL place, where are the tourists on a Wednesday night at 7:45pm against Leicester?

The local and legacy fans have given up in their droves because of the way the club has treated them.

532 seats left in 313.

Don't even bother counting the rest of the empty seats.

Again reread my post, clubs are having to increase prices to meet the ridiculous constraints the so called fair play rules give them. That's every club not just us. As the most successful of the last few years we can keep raising ours as the demand for tickets is high. That allows us to go and spend 200+ million in January to try and arrest a disastrous season so far by our standards. We will no doubt spend at least that amount again in the summer. Sure there is an element of greed involved too, of milking the golden cow, but unless we have a few more seasons like this one it sadly won't change.
They spend £60 m on agents fees and give players £500k a week they don’t have to do this. They waste so much money on laser shows. They have empty seats at most games. Lost revenue because prices are too high. We make record profits they are not doing “this” for us the supporters now they are doing “this” simply for themselves

I can't fault our owners for what they've done since arriving here, they've delivered every promise and we've achieved a lot more trophies that any of us could have imagined. We were even the best team in the world at one point.

However, all of our success has come at a price, a price many of us can now no longer afford. Since giving up my SC in 22 I can't afford to buy full a price match ticket, I either watch on TV or grab a bargain off the ticket thread if there's one to be had.

I feel as though every passing season I'm more alienated and angry my support and loyalty watching games for over 50 years means nothing to the club anymore. It's all about how much the club can squeeze out of match going fans and their greed is getting worse every season.

I'm not liking the way the club is heading in continually exploiting legacy fans who were there through all the bad times.

Rich tourists and day strippers won't be around when the trophies dry up but proper City fans will still stay loyal, but only if they can still afford it!

Don't bite the hand that feeds you City, take heed!

I agree with all of that, it was always gonna come one day and it stinks

Never been this disengaged with city ever had a season ticket 40 years this season after everything we have been through

Thankfully I’ve seen everything but I won’t give up my season ticket as that means they’ve won

Utter twats

Piss off 10s of thousands of fans with season ticket and matchday rises or just get the players out on to the pitch in time and save 2 million pound in fines.

I hate all this FFP justification from the club and some of our own supporters. They haemorrhage money all over the place. Focus on that instead of shafting the working man/woman for every penny they have. Have Haaland on 495k a week instead of 500k. I'm sure he can just about survive on that bless him.

I'm not defending the club by any means on this issue but sadly we knew eventually the price of becoming one of the world's most successful clubs would be this.

Players get £500m a week?

The hotel isn’t being built for football fans. No hotel is built for 20/25 nights a week. That is not a viable business plan. There will be an expectation there is enough capacity in Manchester to fill it the other 340 days of the year..
Tbh, unless it's cheap or you want to be near the ground there are probably a lot of better options in/around town.
