How feckin daft is that? (anouncing that we wont appeal)!

Even if we are not, we have until 6pm tomorrow to decide FFS.

We should have kept quiet and left Liverpool wondering if he might play!

Sometimes the mind boggles!

6pm today, not tomorrow, so Liverpool would have known he wasn't playing anyway.
That's twice in 2 posts you've pulled someone up and been wrong.

Pfft

Its the logical thing to do on many fronts however still pains me to thing that we are being stitched up.

If a referee makes a decision the FA are compelled to live by it regardless of 20 different viewing angles post the decision. Here we have nothing more than a work around, personally I think it undermines the referee and the FA but so be it. With the wealth we have would have loved it if we took them to Court over it.

Personally speaking might take advice on suing the FA myself. Why not, I can afford it and their unjust decision has caused me much grief and sufferance. At least all the documents of the stitch up will become available in discovery??

What do you think shallI?

Having read Platt's comments on Balotelli being charged I think he's got the mood, and statement absolutely spot on.

He's called into question Webb's integrity over him "not seeing" the incident, he's questioned the whole premise of reviewing matches, and incidents, from numerous camera angles the day after the event and changing your opinion, and he's drawn attention to the futility of an appeal for Balotelli and the appeal system as a whole by acknowledging that Kompany's ban was upheld despite virtually everyone knowing it was the wrong decision.

Personally I would appeal. Even if it's upped then we would miss him for only Blackburn (home if it's 4 games) and Bolton (home if it's 5).

Should easily have too much for either of those at home but we need him more on Wednesday

Yes, i just finished watching the PC and feel the same way.

Disappointed Roberto didn't show post Spurs and again today.

I still think Platt's justified accusation that Webb was lying has legs. For a FIFA referee to succumb to FA pressure would be utterly scandalous. Spurs will be preening themselves on the success of their lackeys like Mullery & Mabbutt rolled out by Sky to back up 'Arry and their oh so neutral commentators (why on earth should scum Neville & scaus Souness want Mario banned?) Then MOTD scous joke Hansen weighs in pouring scorn on Lee Dixon when he suggests it's not clear, then the grisly parade on radio Green, Collymore, Chapman etc etc. The truly sickening thing is the appearance of the likes of Paul Simpson and Nicky Summerbee as witnesses for the prosecution. Mark my words this will turn very ugly.

Should we beat Liverpool tomorrow the Blackburn game would actually be the Carling Cup Final.
