Does anyone know if we would be affected should the Tarquins get knocked out of the CL before the group stages? Will it affect our seeding, I'm wondering?

No, we need more than one of the potential 1st or 2nd Pot teams to not qualify.

I think we need 3 teams to fall. The answer is on here, but I'm on my phone in a van (passenger, not driver!) and so can't really look for you.

We need 3 out of arsenal, ac milan, schalke, and lyon to get knocked out. I think two might go but 3 is a big ask.

Ill-informed nonsense.

We need to be in pot 3. The danger teams are in pot 3 not 2 this year.




EDIT:

Atletico, Milan and PSG are in Pot 2.

Dortmund, Juventus, Ajax and Galatasaray are in Pot 3.

PSG would obviously not be easy, but I would rather face Milan/Atletico than the quality/stadium noise levels of Dortmunt, Juve or Galatasaray.

Atletico / Lyon / Shakhtar / Milan / Schalke / Marseille / CSKA / PSG (Pot 2)

Isn't Fenerbache's appeal after the second leg? Can see UEFA thinking Arsenal will generate more TV cash if the Turks win.
Unless Bursapor will replace Fenerbache in the groups but I've not yet seen that confirmed.
But I shall join PB in a spot of laughter should Arsenal go out and stay out.
