Have City won four or more trophies in one season? I can recall the FLC and the ECWC in 1970, and more recently the domestic treble in 2018-19. I suppose that if the the Community Shield is included, then 2018-19 would count as a quadruple.

Last season it was PL, FAC, and CL. City lost the Community Shield and the EFL Cup.

This season, so far, it is ESC, and WCC. City have lost in the Community Shield and the EFL Cup. There is the potential to add the PL, the FAC, and the CL.

Awesome City! - Just watched it back, we played some really good football, great to see Jack doing some shooting, and best game from Phil for a while, Eddy didn't have much to do, kicking was a bit hit and miss but what a fantastic save from the corner! - Some really good defending by us as well. Got to say that paul dempsey is a git of the highest order and has been promoted to the top league of gits that ian darke currently leads. What a shite commentator. Anyway, we totally dominated the game for the most part, Alvarez was brilliant, 2 goals and a provide wow! City the best team in the land and all the World!!!

Have to say the commentating was shocking always talking about the scum and oh look where city were 25 years ago! Can tell you when the scum won the treble in that champions league final not one mention of oh 25 years ago rags were in division 2 and looks at them now!

In the 63 years the competition has been played there have only been 31 clubs that have won it.

There have been two versions of the tournament both being recognised by FIFA. The Intercontinental Cup (teams from just Europe and South America) and the FIFA Club World Cup (teams from every federation)

Strangely, in one year (2000), both tournaments were played, creating 2 winners in that year historically.

in terms of the confederations it was 26 all until The Champions League Winners took over winning all of the last 11.

Happy to win it. Some fans didn't seem arsed but I don't know why. You don't get to play for it without winning the champions league and it's our first time to win both. Hell of a lot better than a kick in the bollocks.

Hopefully it serves as motivation for the players to go on and do the business for the rest of the season

It always pissed me off why Sergio Leone's Spaghetti Western films starring Clint Eastwood never got the Oscar's they deserved.
