City beer

Not been in for years, but prior to many an afternoon of Maine Road misery I'd have a lunch time session in the Lass O'Gowrie before jumping in a taxi to the ground. They certainly did some proper quality (strong!!) beer in there.
To be honest the last time I went in there was the season we went up under Keegan which couldn't really count as miserable really could it! (So it wasn't all drowning your sorrows in anticipation)
The Log 42 used to get you pissed from your feet up, your brain still thought you were sober :-)

Wonder if a massive home brew pub could incorporated into the Etihad campus?
Said it in another thread, they would be mad not to open something between town and the campus once the new arena opens, a partnership with a major chain operator maybe.
The arena will create year round and midweek footfall which a football ground alone probably couldn’t sustain.

Joe Holtes or Hyde's reminds me of pre match build up in the Claremont or the Bee Hive . Marston's Pedigree post match analysis in the Whitty.
" We don't give a f**k, cos we're all pissed up.
