You are basically saying we should accept the Sheva / Crespo option and right off £32 million plus pay a large chunk of his wages. Plus leave ourselves desperately short in the process.but it hasn't hurt chelsea, as I say it happens to every club once in a while, you take a loss on a player.
Its not as simple as that, if we let him go out on loan in these circumstances its very unlikley we will ever get anything back for him fee wise as the precedents I mentioned. FIrstly I very much doubt Robinho would be willing to drop his wages in half. Secondly I doubt very much Santos could afford to pay £40 K a week of his wages. There are a lot of ifs and buts I have a problem with especially seing as Robinho and Santos have annouced it as a done deal which clearly conflicts with the position of our club and manager. It certainly doesnt look like the player or Santos are in the mood for compromise, they are not asking for a deal they are demanding it and talking like its already happened !
You ask for facts then ignore them and repeat what you said before. Robinho wants to play in the world cup if we dont give in he doesnt really have the option of sitting in the reserves refusing to play does he ?
